Photoshop Premiere

Create a picture-in-picture overlayin the Quick view

  1. Place the CTI on the clip in the Quickview timeline that you want to use as the background clip.
    • From the Graphics panel, drag an imageon to the background clip in the Monitor panel. If necessary, adjustthe duration of the overlay in the Picture In Picture dialog box.

    • From Windows Explorer, drag a clip or image on tothe background clip in the Monitor panel, and select Picture InPicture. If necessary, adjust the duration of the overlay in thedialog box.

  2. To adjust the position of the superimposed clip, dragit to the desired location in the Monitor panel.

Note:

If the superimposed clip is longer than the backgroundclip, it appears over successive clips in the Quick view timelinefor its entire duration. The clip also appears superimposed overthose clips during playback.

Create a picture-in-picture overlayin the Expert view

  1. Place the CTI on the clip in the Expertview timeline that you want to use as the background clip.
    • From the Graphics panel, drag an imageon to the background clip in the Monitor panel.

    • From Windows Explorer, drag a clip or image on tothe background clip in the Monitor panel, and select Picture InPicture.

    • From the Project Assets panel, drag a clip or imageon to the background clip in the Monitor panel, and select PictureIn Picture

  2. To adjust the position of the superimposed clip, dragit to the desired location in the Monitor panel.

  1. Dependingon the view you are in, make sure that the Quick view timeline or theExpert view timeline is active.
  2. Right-click/ctrl-click the superimposed clip in the Quickview timeline or the Expert view timeline.

The superimposed clip disappears from the Quick viewtimeline (or the Expert view timeline) and the Monitor panel.
